BTG's pretax profit for the year came in at GBP23.0 million, versus a year-ago loss of GBP10.8 million. Its revenue climbed 77% to GBP197.0 million.
Its expenditure on research and development surged to GBP39.7 million from GBP32.1 million.
BTG shares closed at $5.78 on Friday.
