Some of the narrow based indexes that are supporting the markets are Social Networking Stocks, which have gained 5.6%, Fuel Cell Stocks, up 2.4%, and Pollution Control and Waste Treatment Stocks, moving 2.2% higher as a group.
In Tickerspy's Social Networking complex, Quepasa Corporation QPSA had surged 22.3%. Quepasa announced its plans to buy myYearbook for $100 million.
The best performing Tickerspy Fuel Cell stock has been Plug Power Inc PLUG, which was up 9.2%. PLUG had $13.00 million in total cash and no debt for the latest quarter.
Nalco Holding Company NLC is today's leading Tickerspy's Pollution Control and Waste Treatment stock, gaining 24.7%. Ecolab Inc ECL announced its plans to buy Nalco Holding for around $5.4 billion.
