Modern Warfare 3 to Have Accompanying Mobile App

As noted by GamePro, announced at the Call of Duty XP conference last week was a mobile app for the upcoming Modern Warfare 3 game. The app, which will be available on the iPhone and several Android devices, will allow gamers to "modify weapons and gear" outside of the game itself. 

The app, being developed by the Modern Warfare 3 team, will be free to download and all that will be needed is a login (likely going to support PC, PS3, and Xbox 360). The report also states that there will likely be more features available to Call of Duty Elite subscribers, but that would cost you another $49.99 a year.
