Scripted.com has secured $700,000 in seed funding today. According to TechCrunch, the funds come from Douglas Feirstein, Crosslink Capital, and Shopzilla CIO Jody Mulkey. Scripted began as an offshoot of Scripped, an online scriptwriting community. Scripted pays writers $2 for tweets and $39 for blogs. There are other job opportunities with the site as well, such as copywriting. TechCrunch says that 80% of the site's 80,000 users (writers) are based in the United States. Follow me @LouisBedigian
