Australia posted a narrower adjusted trade deficit in September.
According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, the country's trade deficit narrowed to 1.46 billion Australian dollars ($1.51 billion) in the month, versus A$1.88 billion in August. However, economists were projecting a deficit of $A1.5 billion.
The country's exports declined 1% in the month, while imports fell 2%.
