The worst performing industries in the market today are: Computer Peripherals: The industry dropped 4.75% by 11:05 am. The worst performer in this industry was 3D Systems DDD, which declined 14%. 3D Systems announced weak preliminary Q3 results and lowered its full-year forecast. Silver: This industry fell 1.30% by 11:05 am ET. Coeur Mining CDE shares dropped 8.5% in today's trading. BMO Capital downgraded Coeur d'Alene Mines from Market Perform to Underperform and lowered the price target from $9.00 to $4.50. Manufactured Housing: This industry tumbled 1.02% by 11:05 am. The worst stock within the industry was Tile Shop Holdings TTS, which fell 2.5%. Tile Shop is expected to release Q3 financial results on October 28, 2014. Cigarettes: This industry declined 1% by 11:05 am, with British American Tobacco plc BTI moving down 4.4%. British American Tobacco shares have gained 2.42% over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has surged 10.64% in the same period.
