U.S. Dollar Index Extends Losses

The June U.S. Dollar Index has extended Monday's losses and is trading lower Tuesday at 96.88, down 0.41. Trading has been mostly lower Tuesday ahead of economic data due out at 8:30 a.m. ET. February U.S. CPI and Core CPI will released followed by the FHFA Housing price index at 9:00 a.m. ET and February New Home Sales data at 10:00 a.m. ET. Market chatter that little if any monetary policy change from the U.S. Federal Reserve is coming has brought sellers in.
