Microsoft Clears Short-Term Resistance

Microsoft Corp MSFT shares are trading higher by $0.53 at $54.212 in Wednesday's session. It has added $6 or 12 percent since its February 8 low ($48.19). During its two previous session, it put in a pair of highs at $53.59, closing on that high tick to end Tuesday's session. Early in the session, it cleared that barrier and has rallied to $54.31, before retreating. The current high coincides with its February 2 high ($54.26).
