Oppenheimer & Co. has a research note on Verizon VZ and expects weakness from the company this quarter.
In a note to clients, Oppenheimer writes, "We expect continued stock volatility during the earnings season. CMCSA, Q, CTL,
S, TWTC, AMT, and CCI should have decent quarters. However, we believe guidance at S, AMT and CCI may disappoint (TNDM may as well). We expect weakness from T, VZ and the CLEC stocks through earnings and for a few months. Apart from the quarterly results, for investors with a one-year outlook we think CMCSA, PCS, CCI, and CTEL represent the most attractive stocks in our universe."
Shares of VZ gained 24 cents yesterday to close at $34.60, a gain of 0.7%.
