On a conference call, Argus outlined several names in the technology hardware group considered best ideas among Argus analysts.
Three of those were:
- Corning Inc GLW - With a price target of $30 on shares, Argus liked Corning's execution across all its business units, and saw the new generation of Gorilla Glass as a positive as the glass display business continues to grow.
- Cisco Systems, Inc CSCO - Reporting quarterly results soon under new CEO Chuck Robbins, Argus said Cisco has shown willingness to move quickly, resulting in a transformation from small revenue growth to substantial EPS growth year-over-year.
- Accenture plc ACN - Argus said Accenture has shown again and again it can grow bookings, and that sales growth has ramped up recently.
