U.S. Dollar Index Higher Ahead of Data

The September U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 94.73, up 0.24. The U.S. Dollar Index is trading rangebound Wednesday afternoon. Market talk possible comments from Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen at the upcoming Jackson Hole Symposium has kept buyers and sellers active. Chatter about U.S. economic data due out Thursday is starting to show up. The Census Bureau is scheduled to release durable goods data and the Department of Labor's weekly jobless claims figures are due out at 8:30 a.m. ET. Later in the morning Markit's services PMI ( purchasing managers survey ) is due out at 9:45 a.m. ET
