Metals Down, Palladium & Copper Down Sharply (SLV, GLD, JJC, PALL, PLTM)

The metals market is lower today, with palladium and copper leading the way down, both down more than 2%. Equities are also lower. Copper is down 13.4 cents to trade at $4.2660, a loss of just over 3%. Ipath Dow Jones Ubs Copper Total ETF JJC is down $1.36 to $56.72, a loss of 2.33%. Silver is down 2 cents to $46.04, after nearly touching $50 an ounce earlier in the session. Shares of Ishares Silver Trust ETF SLV are down 51 cents this morning, to trade at $45.03, a loss of 1.11%. Gold is up 70 cents to $1,504.50, a fractional gain, and the only metal higher so far. Shares of Spdr Gold Trust ETF GLD are down 19 cents to $146.55. Platinum is down $4.80 an ounce, trading at $1,815.90, a loss of nearly 0.26%. The platinum ETF settings First Trust ISE Global Platinum Index PLTM is down 10 cents this morning to trade at $32.39. Palladium is down $16.25 an ounce today, trading at $752.80, a loss of nearly 2% today. Shares of ETFS Physical Palladium Shares PALL are sharply lower today, down $1.70 to $74.69.
