Body and Mind Inc. BMMJ BAMM has finalized a licensing production agreement with cannabis accessory and CBD line Her Highness.

The deal is expected to expand Her Highness' reach into the Nevada market as soon as this year.

A Monumental Moment For A Women-Led Startup: With this agreement, High Highness gains a second lucrative Western U.S. market. The company already operates in California.

For Body and Mind CEO Michael Mills, the agreement allows the multistate operator to align with a brand that bolsters the company's portfolio.

Mills highlighted the work of Her Highness co-founders and co-CEOs Laura Eisman and Allison Krongrad.

"Allison and Laura have done an impressive job creating female-focused products that are inviting to the cannacurious and relevant for experienced users," Mills said. "We look forward to working with Her Highness, which strongly aligns with women who seek a brand and quality they can trust."

Eisman told Benzinga that the deal serves as a milestone for the brand.

"To be available in dispensaries in two of the largest consumption states in the country is a monumental moment for a New York-based, women-led startup," she said.

Eisman added that the company is eager to enter additional markets via other licensing opportunities.

Charity Work: The Her Highness brand also plans to continue the philanthropic efforts it recently established.

Through a partnership finalized in May with the Last Prisoner Project, Her Highness plans to donate and raise funds that directly support women incarcerated for nonviolent cannabis crimes.
