Jeb Bush: 'If You're Looking For A Divider-in-Chief, I'm Not Your Guy'

Benzinga got a sneak peek at Sunday’s Wall Street Week.

The show will feature Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush.

Topics discussed with the former Governor of Florida will include the state of his campaign, Donald Trump, where the country can stand to improve and national security, among others.

In a wide-ranging conversation, Jeb Bush was questioned about his campaign. Cohosts Anthony Scaramucci and Gary Kaminsky asked him why he believed his message was not resonating with the American people. Is his approach too low key or “not bombastic enough”?

To this, Bush responded, “If you're looking for a Divider-in-Chief, I’m not your guy; that’s a simple fact.”

“If you want someone that will disparage every American, I'm not your guy. If you want someone that will destroy the alliances to keep the country sage, I’m not your guy,” he continued.

However, “if you want someone who can fix the damn things that exist in this country, I am your guy,” he assured, adding he does not believe that is “low energy.”
