Grant said that the election race pits the "ultimate insider," that is Hillary Clinton, against the "ultimate outsider," Donald Trump. As such, Trump is the answer to many Americans who are unhappy with the way that the "country is being run," and he will ultimately win.
Grant acknowledged he has not contributed to any particular candidate and isn't necessarily rooting for a Trump victory. He added that neither candidate "did particularly well" during Monday's presidential debate and failed to fully address all of the economic issues that should have been discussed.
However, he pointed out one "substantial and meaningful" beneficiary of a Trump White House is the energy sector.
He continued that Clinton is "against the coal industry and she is against the fracking industry and the U.S. oil industry." On the other hand, Trump is "in favor" of these sectors and Grant believes this is a "very substantial point."
"My feeling personally is I want America to be energy independent and not reliant upon Saudi Arabia, Iran and Iraq and these countries that are fostering terrorism in our country," Grant expanded.
