LinkedIn Jumping Over 6% On Second Day Of Trading

Shares of LinkedIn

are jumping this morning, gaining more than 6% on the company's second day as a public company. At last check, shares were up $5.84 to $100.09, a gain of 6.20%‎. Yesterday LinkedIn went public in one of the most ballyhooed technology IPO's since the late 1990's, when companies like Pets.com and TheGlobe.com went public at absurd valuations, and ultimately became busts, as the Internet bubble collapsed. There was plenty of talk yesterday that the IPO of LinkedIn was the beginning of the bursting of the bubble, but only time will tell in that department.
