Apple Finally Catches Up to iPad 2 Demand, Tablet Now Shipping in 1-3 Days

If the high demand for Apple's AAPL iPad 2 has kept you from acquiring the device, some good news arrived this weekend. AppleInsider reports that the world's most popular tablet now ships in just one to three business days. That's a huge improvement over the one to two week shipping estimate that most Apple.com customers have had to endure, and a solid step up from the three to five day shipping estimate promised in early July. AppleInsider adds that JP Morgan, which reiterated its Overweight rating on Apple last week, believes the resulting increase in iPad sales should “help allay investor concerns that have contributed to recent volatility in shares of Apple.” Follow me @LouisBedigian
