The once-popular streaming video service is on its way to three new territories, many of which are bound to love and embrace the service today, and hate the service tomorrow when it loses content and becomes more expensive.
That's just what happened to Netflix NFLX in America when the company announced that it would increase the fee of its streaming and DVD combo to $16. Just when the pain from that news begin to fade, Netflix confirmed that it would lose Starz LSTZA in the next six months.
(Imagine that – making consumers pay more for less. Who do they think they are? Comcast CMCSA!?)
Now the company is set to bring its triple-A disappointment to Mexico, South America and the Caribbean. According to TechCrunch, the company will launch in Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay this Wednesday.
Later this week the service will come to Chile, Bolivia, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, and Ecuador. Next week, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean can finally welcome Netflix's tantalizing-but-tarnished brand of streaming video content.
In the future, Netflix hopes to bring additional headaches and heartache to as many countries as possible.
