Leaked iPad 5 Video Draws 450,000 Viewers

More than 450,000 people have viewed a five-and-a-half-minute video that claims to reveal key parts from the fifth-generation iPad. The video, which has appeared on

, compares the body of the fourth-generation iPad with that of the iPad 5. Assuming the contents are accurate, the fifth-generation model should be lighter, thinner and narrower than its predecessor. Here are some quick facts from the YouTube clip, which can be seen in full below:

The video also points out that the iPad 5's speaker appears to be centered on the very bottom of the device, similar to the iPad Mini.

The iPad 5 will also supposedly have a microphone slot on the back. This might seem like an odd move for Apple (consumers are more likely to talk into the front of the device, not the back), but this could be used for greater audio quality when filming videos.
