, based on an article in
MacRumors, that Apple
AAPL is testing alloys from LiquidMetal Technologies
LQMT for the iPhone 6. The use of these materials would enable Apple to make the next iPhone, which is rumored to be released in 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch versions, thinner and lighter.
There is speculation, the iPhone 6 or "iPhone Air", could be launched as early as the WWDC in June, while other reports suggest a September release.
