Weak Pricing Of voxeljet's Offering Weighs On Stratasys, ExOne Shares

Shares of voxeljet VJET have plunged more than 16 percent during Friday's trading session following the unfavorable pricing of an equity offering. voxeljet priced 3 million ADSs at $15 per ADS, sharply below the $18.55 close from Thursday. The company said it is expecting net proceeds from the offering around $41.4 million. Right at the open Friday morning, it appeared the news was going to bring the entire 3D-printing sector down. Shares of 3D Systems DDD were down more than 2 percent while shares of both Stratasys SSYS and ExOne Co. XONE were down about 1.6 percent. While shares of 3D Systems have bounced nicely, now up more than a percent, shares of Stratasys and ExOne have continued lower, down about 2 percent and 2.4 percent, respectively.
