Microsoft Corporation MSFT on Monday announced it has agreed to acquire Talko, a chat app that was developed by Microsoft's former chief software architecture, Ray Ozzie.
Talko is an app that combines text messages, voice clips, calls and other sharing features all into one convenient and easy to use app.
Microsoft will integrate Talko's employees with its Skype team. The company commented in a blog post that its newly acquired technology and talent will "help us deliver great new features and capabilities" in Skype and Skype for Business.
Terms of the deals were not immediately disclosed.
