He said it again: Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump just can't wait for Apple Inc. AAPL to start making iPhones in the United States instead of China.
At 2:18 p.m. EST during a rally in Maine, Trump said, "I want to see the day […] when Apple makes their iPhones in this country […] not in China."
In context, the quote comes from Trump's opening remarks about his campaign strategy to "Make America Great Again."
"Over the last little while, I've met thousands and thousands of people […] I have more confidence of in this country now than I have ever before […] This country has unbelievable people that love our country […] And I want to see the day in the not too distant future, when Apple makes their iPhones in this country and not in China and all these other places."
