Let the games begin.
President Barack Obama officially endorsed Hillary Clinton on Thursday afternoon.
"I know how hard this job can be. That's why I know Hillary will be so good at it. In fact, I don't think there's ever been someone so qualified to hold this office," Obama said in a video tweeted by Clinton's official Twitter Inc TWTR account.
This quickly led to Republican nominee Donald Trump getting in his two cents, but just moments later, Clinton lashed back.
While this is just another petty step in 2016 Presidential election, it also continues to show the power of Twitter. The company has been ravaged by Wall Street for not being able to monetize itself or grow users, but it's still the spot people go for up-to-the-second news.
