Netflix, Inc. NFLX is rolling out a huge amount of new content in August, including classic movies like “The Fast and the Furious.” Netflix is also debuting new original content such as “The Little Prince” and bull-riding docu-series “Fearless.”
While Netflix subscribers are always excited about new content, one of the most frustrating parts of the service is when a movie or TV show on your mental watch list disappears from Netflix without a trace.
That’s why now is the time to binge watch these 10 movies and before they leave Netflix throughout the month of August:
- “Addams Family Values” (August 1)
- “The Nutty Professor” (August 1)
- “The Sandlot” (August 1)
- “Where the Red Fern Grows (August 1)
- “Johnny English” (August 1)
- “Teen Witch” (August 1)
- “Rugrats Go Wild” (August 1)
- “Charlie’s Angels” (August 15)
- “Inside Man” (August 16)
- “The Pursuit of Happyness” (August 27)
Netflix investors are hoping that the fresh batch of content will more than make up for the disappearing titles and rising subscription costs. In the company’s most recent quarterly report, it reported global subscription growth well short of previous guidance. Netflix stock is now down 20.5 percent in 2016.
