Your Favorite Fantasy Football Stars May Be Wearing Kanye West's New Football Cleats

Kanye West is trying to take over the sports world. Some (including himself) have called him this generation's Michael Jordan, as his Yeezy 350 Boost shoes have amassed viral popularity and have seen incredible demand.

West announced last month he was getting into the basketball shoe market, and the public will see adidas AG (ADR) ADDYY endorsers wearing a Yeezy basketball shoe in the near future.

He took it a step further after sending out Yeezy football cleats to some fantasy football stars favorites: Adrian Peterson, Von Miller and DeAndre Hopkins.

This is likely the most hype ever seen from a football shoe; football cleats are almost never distinguishable from others, which poses the question if West will get into every sport he can.

With both 2015 Rookie of the Year winners in baseball, Kris Bryant and Carlos Correa on the Adidas roster, it wouldn't be surprising to see a Yeezy baseball cleat sooner than later.

West also announced the first Yeezy standalone brick and mortar store will open in California, and exclaimed that he wanted to see up to 200 stores open in 2017.

"I want to do 200 stores in the next year. That's just me saying what I want. I'm not saying what can definitely happen, but you might as well just state out loud what you want. That'll put you one step closer to getting it," West was quoted as saying in a recent Rolling Stone article.

This is likely only the beginning.
