DexCom Shares Plummet 20% After Hours (DXCM)

San Diego, California based medical device manufacturer DexCom, Inc. DXCM late on Thursday released financial results that sent the company's stock price plummeting during after hours trading. DexCom, Inc reported a 3rd quarter net loss of 23 cents per share, on revenue of $10.78 million. A poll of analysts conducted by Thomson Reuters showed an average Wall Street estimate of an expected loss of 18 cents per share, on revenue of $13.14 million. DexCom, Inc. (DXCM) ended the Thursday trading session at $13.91 per share, then fell 20.1% to $11.11 during after hours trading.
