UPDATE: Nice Systems Posts In-Line Q3 Profit

Nice Systems NICE reported a drop in its third-quarter profit. Excluding one-time items, Nice earned $0.62 per share, versus $0.64 per share in the year-ago period. Its revenue rose 4.2% to $230.1 million. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.62 per share on revenue of $233.6 million. Nice expects Q4 revenue of $260 to $275 million and adjusted earnings of $0.72 to $0.77 per share. Nice shares closed at $40.43 yesterday.
