Guy Carpenter Announces New Executive Appointments

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Guy Carpenter & Company, LLC, the leading global risk and reinsurance specialist, today announced that, effective May 1, 2010, Chris McKeown has been appointed President and CEO of North America Broking Operations. In this role, Mr. McKeown will be responsible for Guy Carpenter’s treaty business in the United States and Canada.

In addition, Andrew Marcell has been appointed CEO of Global Practices and Head of Placement Strategy. Mr. Marcell will be relocating to London to assume his new responsibilities, which will further strengthen Guy Carpenter’s International management team.

Prior to this appointment, Chris McKeown was CEO of Guy Carpenter’s Global Analytical and Specialty Practices. Andrew Marcell was CEO of the Americas broking operations.
