In a somewhat surprising move, Nokia NOK and Microsoft MSFT have joined forces to produce a new phone.
The phone itself will reportedly be developed by Nokia, but by providing the Windows Phone 7 operating system, Microsoft will play an integral role in the phone's creation.

“Nokia is at a critical juncture, where significant change is necessary and inevitable in our journey forward,” he said.
