This morning on CNBC, Former chairman of the FCC, Reed Hundt, said that he feels that the prospective AT&T T and T-Mobile merger is the defining deal of the antitrust policy of the Obama administration.
Comparatively, Hundt said that the Comcast CMCSA deal was not the defining deal because it did not represent a significant horizontal consolidation, whereas the AT&T and T-Mobile merger does.
