Gold futures are trading lower by $14.30 at $1069.30 in Tuesday's session. In the after-hours session on Monday, it found resistance above Monday's close ($1083.60), reaching $1085.10 before heading lower.
The ensuing decline has taken the contract well beyond it the low of its recent decline ($1073), reaching $1064.40. Since making that low it has been attempting to reclaim the $1070 handle.
