Carbonetworks Appoints Managing Director, UK - California Resources (NYSE:CRC), Global X Emerging Markets

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - Aug. 13, 2009) - Carbonetworks, a leading global software company that provides Performance Management solutions for carbon, energy, and sustainability announced today the appointment of Mark Lewis as Managing Director, UK.

With the April 2010 implementation of the UK's Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC), both domestic and foreign organisations impacted by the legislation are scrambling to prepare. Carbonetworks provides technology and consulting services to help CRC impacted clients to automate the process, reducing cost and risk, while identifying opportunities to improve business performance. He brings 18 years of senior leadership in enterprise software, having served in VP and Managing Director roles at companies such as EMC Captiva, Pitney Bowes-MapInfo, and Headway Technology Group PLC.
