Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust Announces August 2009 Distribution

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 14, 2009) - Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust ("CREIT") (TSX:REF.UN) today announced its August 2009 monthly distribution in the amount of 11.33 cents per unit (C$1.36 annualized). The August distribution will be payable on September 15, 2009 to Unitholders of record August 31, 2009.
