Massage Envy(R) Hosts 5th Annual Massage for the Cure Benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure(R)

SCOTTSDALE, AZ--(Marketwire - August 14, 2009) - On Tuesday, September 15, 2009, Massage Envy, the nation's largest
massage therapy provider, will
team up with Susan G. Komen for the Cure to help win the fight against
breast cancer by hosting Massage for the Cure. During this one-day event,
nearly 600 Massage Envy clinics nationwide will offer $35 one-hour massage
therapy sessions, with $10 from each massage directly benefiting the local
Affiliates of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Additional donations will also
be accepted, and all proceeds collected will go directly into local
community outreach programs supporting breast health education and
awareness.

The event is open to the public, and scheduling massage therapy
appointments in advance of the date at your nearest Massage Envy clinic is
highly recommended. Reservations will be taken starting August 15, 2009.
All funds raised from Massage for the Cure will support breast cancer
education, screening and treatment initiatives in communities across the
US.

over $800,000 for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. This year, Massage Envy's
goal is to raise $500,000, with an estimated 590 Massage Envy clinics in 40

This year alone, nearly 200,000 women and men in the United States will be
diagnosed with breast cancer, and more than 40,000 will die from the
disease. A woman is diagnosed with breast cancer every three minutes and
the disease claims another life every 13 minutes.
