Media Advisory: Government of Canada to Announce Initiatives to Help Canadian Pork Producers

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 14, 2009) - Member of Parliament Larry Miller (Agriculture Committee Chair) with MP Gary Schellenberger, on behalf of Federal Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz, will be in Shakespeare, Ontario, on Saturday, August 15 to announce investments to help hog farmers restructure or exit the industry, and to help the industry take advantage
of new market opportunities.
