Avenir Diversified Income Trust Confirms August Distribution

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Aug. 17, 2009) - Avenir Diversified Income Trust (the "Trust" or "Avenir Trust") (TSX:AVF.UN) is pleased to announce its August distribution. The cash distribution will be $0.06 per Trust Unit, which is consistent with the previous monthly distribution. The distribution will be paid on September 15, 2009, to unitholders of record on August 31, 2009. The ex-distribution date is August 27, 2009.
