CICB/Bishop Lifting Host First-Ever CCO Rigger/Signalperson Workshop

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwire - August 17, 2009) - The first-ever combined training workshops for
CCO Practical Examiners for Signalperson Certification and Rigger
Certification were hosted June 28-July 2, 2009 by Crane Inspection and
Certification Bureau (CICB) and Bishop Lifting Products, Inc. (BLP). The
event, which trained CCO certified signalpersons and riggers to administer
the practical exams developed by the National Commission for the
Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO), took place at BLP's Houston
facility. BLP is a leading manufacturer and distributor of lifting solutions
for cranes, rigging, and oilfield applications.

Demand was so high for the Rigger Practical Examiner training that NCCCO
ran two workshops back-to-back. A total of twenty examiner candidates
participated. Pennsylvania, which recently enacted crane operator
legislation, sent two candidates, while registrants also came from Texas,
California, Louisiana, Maine, Nevada, Oklahoma, Virginia and Washington.

The group included experienced mobile, tower, and overhead practical
examiners as well as those new to the CCO practical examination process.

perspective to ensure all those involved in lifting operations -- not just
