MIDDLETON, WI--(Marketwire - August 18, 2009) - Extreme Engineering Solutions is shipping
XCalibur1501, the first MPC8572E based 6U CompactPCI board that scales from
commercial to full blown military (conduction-cooled) applications.
Targeting Freescale Semiconductor's dual-core MPC 8572E PowerQUICCT III
processor, XCalibur1501 is being adopted by commercial, industrial and
military system architects demanding high processing performance with low
power consumption.

XCalibur1501 is a powerful solution for the next generation of
computationally intensive embedded applications and features:

-- Freescale MPC 8572E PowerQUICC® III processor with dual e500
Power Architecture® cores at up to 1.5 GHz
-- Two channels of up to 4 GB of DDR2-800 SDRAM with ECC
-- Up to 4 GB of NAND flash and 256 MB of NOR flash
