Sirius XM Radio (NASDAQ:SIRI) announced today that they will now be offering their radio line up on the Android OS smart phones.  A free application will be available for download, with a free 7 day trial of service as well.  Phone owners of the Google Nexus and Motorola Droid will now have access to Sirius XM’s over 120 channels of exclusive sports, talk, comedy, and commercial free music.

Sirius XM has already released similar applications for the Iphone/Ipod OS systems and the Blackberry line up of smart phones.  This completes releases for all the major smart phone operating systems and with Palm struggling, this might complete the offering for now.  I wouldn’t be surprised to see them add Palm at a later date, possibly once the dust settles on that company.  With buyout rumors in the air dealing with Palm, Sirius XM might just adopt a wait and see atmosphere on this smart phone operating system.
