• IBM (NYSE:IBM) yesterday raised its quarterly dividend to 65 cents from 55 cents and expanded its share buyback program by $8 billion in front of its shareholder meeting.

• Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) reported an earnings and revenue beat, with results of 31 cents one cent above Zacks estimates, and revenues of $9.2 billion ahead of Zacks projections of $9.15 billion

• Dow Chemical (NYSE:DOW) topped estimates with earnings of 43 cents beating Zacks estimates of 30 cents as sales of $13.42 billion beat Zacks estimates of $13.0 billion

• Medco Health Solutions (NYSE:MHS) beat Zacks estimates by one cent, with earnings of 73 cents on revenues of $16.3 billion beating Zacks estimates of $15.93 billion

• WellPoint (NYSE:WLP) reported earnings of $1.95, beating estimates of $1.66 and revenues of $14.87 billion ahead of Zacks estimates of Zacks estimates of $14.63 billion.  The company said it sees full-year earnings of at least $6.00 per share

• General Dynamics (NYSE:GD) reported a 3-cent earnings beat, as results of $1.54 beat Zacks estimates of $1.51, and revenues of $7.8 billion fell short of Zacks estimates of $8.2 billion

• Corning (NYSE:GLW) reported earnings of 52 cents, versus Zacks estimates of 42 cents, on revenues of $1.55 billion, versus Zacks estimates of $1.53 billion
