Benzinga’s Top Pre-Market Losers (FLEX, AZN, POT, QCOM, ABFS, TTEK)

Flextronics International Ltd. (NASDAQ: FLEX) decreased $0.30 or 4.23% to $6.80 in the pre-market session. Flextronics reported yesterday a third quarter net profit of $93 million, or $0.11 per share, as compared to $20 million, or $0.02 per share, for the same quarter last year. The 52-week trading range for Flextronics International is $1.81 -$7.97. FLEX has gained over 32% in the last six months.

AstraZeneca plc (ADR) (NYSE: AZN) declined 3.30% to $48 after AstraZeneca reported today a fourth-quarter profit of $1.55 billion, on revenue of $8.95 billion. Analysts had forecasted AZN to report a profit of $1.96 billion on sales of $8.82 billion. AstraZeneca closed at $49.64 in the last trading session. The 52-week trading range for AZN is $29.96 - $50.70.

Potash Corp./Saskatchewan (USA) (NYSE: POT) plunged 4.49% to $104.60 in the pre-market session after Potash Corp./Saskatchewan reported today a fourth-quarter net profit of $243.6 million, or $0.80 per share, as compared to $788 million, or $2.56 per share, in the year ago period. Sales declined 41% to $1.1 billion. Analysts had expected POT to report earnings of $0.81 per share on sales of $1.12 billion. The 52-week trading range for POT is $63.65 - $126.47. POT has climbed over 45% in the last year.

QUALCOMM, Inc. (NASDAQ: QCOM) plunged 8.60% to $43.14. QUALCOMM announced yesterday that for the second quarter of 2010, it expects pro forma revenues to be in between $2.40 billion - $2.60 billion, diluted earnings per share to be in the range of $0.49-$0.53, GAAP revenues to be in the range of $2.40 billion -$2.60 billion and diluted EPS to be in the range of $0.35 - $0.39. QUALCOMM closed at $47.20 in the last trading session.

Arkansas Best Corporation (NASDAQ: ABFS) plummeted 4.47% to $24.80 in the pre-market session. Arkansas Best Corporation reported today a fourth quarter net loss of $88.7 million, or $3.54 per share, as compared to $11 million, or $0.44 per share, for the same quarter last year. Revenue fell 5% to $371.6 million for the quarter. The 52-week trading range for Arkansas Best is $15.84 - $34.56. ABFS has declined by 4% in the last six months.

Tetra Tech, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTEK) declined 12.84% to $21.85 in the pre-market session. Tetra Tech announced yesterday that for the second quarter of 2010 , it expects diluted earnings per share to be in the range of $0.20 - $0.23 and revenue to be in between $310 million - $330 million. The 52-week trading range for TTEK is $20.00 - $32.00. In the last year, TTEK has surged over 23%.
