Best Performing Indexes Today

Today's best performing narrow based indexes were Diabetes Stocks, up 8.6% on the day, Agricultural, Chemical and Fertilizer Stocks, appreciating 3.1% during the session, and Computer Peripheral Stocks, higher by 2.7%.

Small cap name, Home Diagnostics (NASDAQ: HDIX) led the way in the Diabetes complex, surging almost 90% on huge volume today. The move was a result of a tender offer.

The Agricultural, Chemical and Fertilizer stocks were helped by a nice 3.2% move in shares of Potash Corp. (NYSE: POT). POT is now trading at $107.78.

Computer Peripheral stocks were buoyed by shares of Lexmark International (NYSE: LXK), which gained 7.50% to $32.26. This move came after Citigroup added LXK to its Top Picks list and stuck a $52 price target on the stock.
