• Ingersoll Rand (NYSE:IR) posted fourth quarter earnings of 48 cents a share, below Zacks estimates of 53 cents, on inline revenues of $3.3 billion. The company raised its guidance range for 2010 by 20 cents to $2.20 to $2.60 a share

• Deutsche Bank (NYSE:DB) upgraded PNC Financial to "buy" from "hold," raising the price target to $57 from $45

• Marriott International (NYSE:MAR) received an upgrade from Oppenheimer from "underperform" to "perform," with the price target increased from $19 to $25

• Thomas Weisel upgraded Viacom (NYSE:VIA) to "overweight," with a price target of $35

• Credit Suisse (NYSE:CS) initiated coverage of three firms: Procter & Gamble (NYSE:PG) at "outperform" with a $74 price target; Colgate (NYSE:CL) and Clorox (NYSE:CLX) at "neutral" and targets of $87 and $64, respectively
