Today's Morning Top Gainers (HOKU,DSCO,VSR,ICCC,TSTR)

Hoku Scientific, Inc. (NASDAQ: HOKU)  is the top percentage gainers in morning trade and surged among 73% today to $3.71 on huge volume of 4.42 million shares after the maker of fuel-cell and solar-power components said China’s Tianwei New Energy Holdings Co. agreed to a financing agreement to help complete construction of a polysilicon plant in Pocatello, Idaho.

Discovery Laboratories, Inc. (NASDAQ: DSCO) rallied 45% on 37.21 million shares and now trades at $1.after held a teleconference on September 29, 2009 with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The meeting established an approach to potentially resolve the remaining primary issue that Discovery Labs must address to gain U.S. marketing approval of Surfaxin(R) (lucinactant) for the prevention of Respiratory Distress Syndrome (RDS) in premature infants.

ImmuCell Corporation (NASDAQ: ICCC) soared 34% now trades at $3.81 on an unusual volume of 168K shares after it said in a study of approximately 300 qualified cows with subclinical mastitis that was conducted at sixteen sites across the United States, the Mast Out treatment group showed a statistically highly significant (p < 0.0001) overall cure rate in comparison to the placebo group.

TerreStar Corporation (NASDAQ: TSTR)  jumped up 21% to $2.58 on 8.70 million shares after today it announced today an agreement between TerreStar and AT&T to bring to market the first fully integrated satellite cellular smartphone.
