New 52-Week High Stocks (MDT, ADI, DLTR, DTV, MYL)
Medtronic, Inc. (NYSE: MDT) hits a new 52-week high at $43.65 in today’s morning session. Currently MDT is trading at $42.52, up 5.48%. Today MDT today announced that its second quarter earnings were $868 million, or $0.78 a share. While, revenue increased to $3.8 billion, an increase of 8% from the same quarter last year. MDT expects fiscal 2010 profits to be in between $3.17 to $3.22 per share.
Analog Devices, Inc. (NYSE: ADI) rose 6.23% to $29.66 on 6.39 million shares. Today Analog Devices, Inc. was today upgraded by GC Research from Neutral to Outperform. Today, it made a new 52-week high at $29.97.
Dollar Tree, Inc. (NASDAQ: DLTR)is another stock which made a new 52 week high at $52.20 and now trades at $51.60, increased by $2.40 or 4.89% after DLTR’s third quarter profit increased to $68.2 million, or $0.76 a share, as compared to $43.1 million, or $0.47 a share, a year ago. DLTR expects its fourth quarter profit to be in the range of $1.30 to $1.39 per share.
The DIRECTV Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: DTV) today broke its previous 52-week high and made a new high at $32.30 and now up 1.46% and trades at $32.05. So far this year, DTV gained about 40%.
Mylan Inc. (NASDAQ: MYL) rose 1.17% to $18.19 after topping a new 52-week high at $18.36. So far this year, MYL is up over 90%.
