ePlus Technology Awarded Symantec Data Loss Prevention Specialization

HERNDON, VA--(Marketwire - August 18, 2009) - ePlus inc. (NASDAQ: PLUS) announced today that
its wholly owned subsidiary, ePlus Technology inc., has received Data Loss
Prevention (DLP) Specialization from Symantec Corporation. This
designation recognizes ePlus as having the fulfilled the training and
program prerequisites to deliver a unified solution to discover, monitor,
and protect confidential data wherever it is stored or used.

To qualify for the Symantec DLP Specialization, ePlus had to meet a number
of requirements. These included enrollment in the Symantec Partner
Program, investment in the required hardware and software that meets
defined specifications to perform product demonstrations, and completion of
Symantec training and accreditation requirements for DLP products,
including completion of a rigorous training course and a career level
certification test for ePlus engineers and sales executives.

Symantec Partner Specializations are designed to recognize partners'
solutions expertise. By meeting the qualification requirements and joining
a Symantec specialization, partners can demonstrate their proven ability to
plan, design, implement, and manage Symantec solutions to both customers
and other partners.
