Jefferies provided color on the software sector. In a research report published today, Jefferies stressed there might be some bumps on the road for the sector's stocks.
In the report, Jefferies states, “Some checks and recent company commentary show signs of a downtick in
demand, but stocks seem to be reflecting this. We expect 2Q11 earnings season
to be somewhat choppy. BUY rated stocks we like into earnings include CNQR,
TYPE and PRO.”
On Friday, Concur Technologies CNQR lost 0.37% of its value to end the day at $48.51, while Monotype Image Holdings TYPE added 0.96% to its value to end the week at $13.74. Finally, PROS Holdings PRO rose 1.82% to close the day on Friday at $16.76.
