Photographers can now arrive at a KODAKIT Photoshoot with the relevant details about the photoshoot immediately accessible. With added efficiencies, orders and jobs can be tracked and dispatched in real time. There are built-in briefing documents to guide a photographer on site, and the app helps populate calendars more effectively, making scheduling and rescheduling easy.
The app also helps to batch jobs; rather than a photographer receiving a notification for 1-2 jobs, the system will batch up to 6 jobs pertaining to a specific neighborhood and broadcast the opportunity.
To date, more than eight hundred photographers have already downloaded the app demonstrating a strong interest from the KODAKIT Photographers Community.
"The app is a trustworthy timesaver, allowing me to connect to the restaurants much quicker," said Owen Caliver, London-based photographer. "It saves me needless copying & pasting into my calendars and gives me easy access to change or cancel gigs if required."
"We are automating processes and easing areas of friction," said Eric Mahe, President of Consumer and Film Division, Kodak and CEO of KodakIt. "As we move closer to a true, on-demand service, we want to ensure that our community of photographers get real time information and all the support from KodakIt they need to deliver first class service to our customers."
With its real time geolocation and aggregation capabilities, the app will provide food delivery, hospitality and real estate photographers and their customers an opportunity to photoshoot and load assets in a much more efficient way.
Kodak and KodakIt are trademarks of Kodak.
