European markets are now closed. Stock markets across Europe performed as follows: The U.K. FTSE fell 0.1%. The German DAX slid 0.1%. The French CAC rose 0.1%. The Spanish IBEX surged 2.2%. The Portuguese PSI added 2.5%. The euro is currently holding near a three-week high against the U.S. dollar. The single currency is down slightly by 0.08% to 1.2366.
